Jafurah Gas Plant Project

The Jafurah Gas Plant Project is the development of the Kingdom’s largest non-associated, unconventional gas field — estimated to hold around 229 trillion cubic feet of raw gas and 75 billion barrels of condensates — aimed to supply natural gas, ethane, gas liquids and condensates to fuel domestic energy demand and petrochemical feedstock.

At full capacity by 2030, Jafurah is expected to deliver up to 2 billion standard cubic feet per day (scfd) of sales gas, along with large volumes of ethane and natural-gas liquids, supporting Saudi Arabia’s energy transition and reducing reliance on oil-based power generation.
